forum/server problems?

ok well today a bunch of people have been complaining/asking me why the server and forums were down.

lets start with server:
the server was down for two reasons.
1.there was a flooder on the server. and it was logging on so much that it caused the server to close the login socket.which basically means. it made the server not accept any IP's so no one could log in.

2nd reason. we had an error in the server files. if we ran the server with these errors then in-turn i belive that some things/items wouldnt work.

solution:
well me and some of my friends fixed the errors in the server files. so now everything run's a-ok. i'm still looking for an anti-flooder for the server so that we can all log in perfectly if a flooder comes by.


forums down?:
they were down for one very simple reason.
the people that host the forums server a.k.a forumotion.com. decided to update their forums software so all of their forums went down. it wasnt just ours. so i dont want to hear peoples blaming the staff/people of dragon-dagger for the problems we had on the server.

Owl i agree with your post. and i also think that some of the pking weapons like dragon whip etc. should hit less and need a certian attack and strength level to weild.
